White Ash has been considered to be one of the premium arrow shaft materials reaching far back in history. Roger Ascham's book Toxophilus from 1545 counts Ash as being the preferred wood for war arrows. Valued for its strength and durability, Ash makes a hard-hitting arrow ideal for both Medieval Longbow enthusiasts as well as heavy bow shooters. Our shafts are made from Canadian White Ash. They come in packs of 12. They can be cut to size upon request. Please note that there may be up to a 1 month delay before product is shipped as sometimes these are made to order.
