We offer two types of Longbows:

Yew English Longbow/Warbow
Fenwick Bows uses the optimum wood for English Longbows - hand selected old growth staves. These are harvested in British Colombia, Canada.
Yew is the wood that was historically used and prized by English armies during the Medieval and Tudor periods, most famously used in the Hundred Years War. These bows are replicas of the Mary Rose Bows, the only known physical example of late Medieval/Tudor Bows.
Prices:
-
20-40 lbs: $1000
-
50-70 lbs: $1300
-
80-100 lbs: $1350
-
110-130 lbs: $1500

Fenwick Bows uses staves that are harvested before forests are cleared for lumber and development. This saves prime material from being consumed or discarded and allows them to live a second life as a hand-crafted bow.
Ash English Longbow
Carefully selected White Ash harvested in New Brunswick, Canada is used for our Ash Longbows.
Ash was classed as a “Meanwood Bow” in Medieval/Tudor England. Canadian White Ash makes a fine Longbow and is a more accessible option especially for those just getting into English Longbows. Our Ash English Longbows come with hardwood nocks unless otherwise requested. Horn nocks are an additional cost.
Prices:

20-60 lbs: $450
