FAQs and Policies
Warranty
The warranty lasts for one year and covers breakage due to natural fault in the material. For the warranty to be valid, customers must look after their bows correctly. This means:
-
Never ‘dry fire’ your bow
-
Always use a double loop stringer that fits into the stringing grooves to string your bow
-
Never pull the bow anywhere but the handle when shooting OR stringing
-
Shoot arrows correctly matched for your bow (or heavier)
-
Do not store your bow in hot places (for instance near wood stoves or ovens)
-
Never over-draw your bow
-
Do not let other people shoot your bow
-
Do not shoot your bow over or under braced
-
Properly warm up your bow when you first receive it
-
Never leave your bow strung when not in use
To claim a warranty, the customer must provide photos and explain in detail the damage sustained. The customer must be prepared to ship the bow back to the bowyer for inspection. If the damage is deemed to be due to the material or the craftsmanship, the warranty will be honoured in either a free replacement with value equal to the damaged bow, or a refund.
Please note that shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Also we would like to reiterate that your warranty is void if you use anything but a double looped stringer that fits into the grooves of the stringing nocks to string your bow.
Will you give me bow-making advice?
It is difficult to properly give advice and instruction over email, and although I would like to help, I am not able to keep up with these requests. Please contact me if you would like to sign up for an in-person bow making course. If you live abroad, we will soon be offering an e-course. Feel free to email me for more details.
Shipping, duties and tariffs
